dropping knowledge

This dropping knowledge project looks to be an interesting although somewhat futile exercise in preaching to the choir that shouldn’t generate too much in the way of lively debate. That being said, I’d love to have the opportunity to be there myself.

Postnote: On further reflection, although structural issues play a large role in perpetuating ecologically unsustainable economic systems, apathy and ignorance are the real issue in bringing about change in democracies, principally the US. So this is an admirable effort to move change forward. I am particularly interested in how the knowledge platform and dialog platform looks once it is populated with content from the meeting.

A few of the more interesting commercials for the project:

Namibian folk

Sylvere Lotringer

Robert Thurman

Ethan Nadelman

Sebastiao Salgado

Wim Wenders

Rabbi Arek Wascherman
