Dinosaur fish pushed to the brink by deep sea trawlers

I stand corrected. The coelacanth species is actually 200 millions year old, according to this article in the Observer. Lamentably, the impetus for the article is that overfishing is seriously putting its survival in question. Those freegans may be basically sponging off the ebb and flow of capitalism, but it would help if we in the richest country in the world consumed a little less and learned to expect to pay a little more.
